When you scan

Your public wallet address, selected chains and optional instruction are sent to the SALVAGE server. To perform checks, the server sends the address to configured RPC providers and Merkl, Across and supported contract APIs. These providers may retain request information under their own policies.

AI instructions

The optional instruction is processed by a Qwen model hosted with the service. It chooses which category to prioritize. Do not include passwords, recovery phrases, personal information or other secrets in a prompt.

Reports and logs

Reports are held in server memory for up to 15 minutes, with periodic expiry cleanup, and disappear on restart. The report identifier acts as a temporary access link: anyone who knows it can request that report. Downloads are created in your browser and saved under your control.

IP addresses are used for short-lived scan rate limits. Hosting, proxy, model and provider services may keep operational or access logs. SALVAGE does not add advertising trackers.

Wallet connection

Connecting is optional. Privy processes the wallet address and sign-in signature, and may process device, IP and authentication-event information. It stores session information in your browser. SALVAGE stores a connection flag to restore your selected wallet. Privy privacy policy ↗

Disconnect signs out and clears the SALVAGE connection flag. Clear site data to remove locally stored session information. SALVAGE does not receive your wallet's private key or recovery phrase.

External actions

Opening a claim link takes you to the original protocol. Its privacy, transaction and wallet-permission practices apply there. The SALVAGE scanner itself requests no token spending permissions and sends no payments.
